The Impac Group Inc, is formed in march 1998 through the merge of Klearfold Inc and AGI (4), subsequently in September 1998 Impac acquires Tinsley Robor Group Ltd. & subsidiaries which also include Van De Steeg (Van De Steeg Packaging).
Further acquisitions follow in November 1998 of Music Print B.V, Thamesdown Colour Limited, Nov, 1999, Atlantic Packaging Corporation, Jan, 2000 and Commercial Lithographing Company ("Commercial Litho") in April, 2000.
Operations included seven production facilities and one fulfillment centre in the United States, 12 production facilities in Austria, Ireland, Netherlands and United Kingdom.
The group was subsequently acquired on 11th July 2000 by Westvaco, later to become MeadWestvaco in 2001.
