- The Philharmonie de Paris is a cultural institution in Paris, France dedicated to music. It comprises concert halls, exhibition spaces, rehearsal rooms, educational services, restaurant and bars. The main buildings are all located in the Parc de la Villette at the northeastern edge of Paris (19th arrondissement). Its 2,400 seats symphonic hall was designed by Jean Nouvel and opened in January 2015.
Mainly dedicated to symphonic concerts, the Philharmonie de Paris also present other forms of music such as jazz and world music.
