The text 'The recordings in this album have been carefully selected for re-release from the Decca catalogs' that appears on most Vocalion albums is incorrect here; Decca purchased the rights to the album for reissue. Though Waylon would directly sign with Decca successor MCA much later, at the time, Decca only had rights to the "JD's" album and the 1959 Brunswick single. MCA would reissue these tracks (through MCA UK) as [m1137516].
This verision has no song credits on labels. Also how arranger and producer credits is written differs.
Track B4 is mistitled "Sweet Dreams (Of You)", and incorrectly credits Don Gibson as writer. The actual song that plays is "Dream Baby (How Long Must I Dream)", written by Cindy Walker.
Track B5 is mistitled "White Lightning Cherokee". The song is simply, "White Lightning",
These errors went uncorrected throughout the US and Canadian press runs (including MCA reissues).
