Criteria for distinction to other first pressings: look at the order of "Tony Scott's Orchestra and Chorus" and "with Millard Thomas, Guitar" on both labels. This label difference along with larger numbered stampers is evidence of repressing. The repressing is still a part of the first release run, as the release sales charted in the US for two years
This is the same as [r9413756], but with different performer credits order on side 1.
Recorded on three separate dates at Webster Hall, Manhattan, NYC, Aug. 18, Oct. 20, Nov. 9, 1955.
Original release date June 1956; first sales charted on Billboard June 23,1956; continuous thru November 4,1957, 71 weeks.
