Express Yourself was originally issued in two different editions released a few moments apart in 1970. Both edition utilised the same catalog number - Warner Bros. album 1864. The second edition can be clearly identified by the use of different front cover typography and the inclusion of the phrase "including their hit 'Love Land'", altough the back cover track listing is incorrect and shows the sequence from the previous edition. This 2007 reissue is an attempt to reconcile the differences between the two versions and present a "complete" version of the album.

Track 3: Appears on both edition, but is approximately 90 seconds shorter on the second edition. The longer first edition is included on this CD.

Track 7: Appears on both edition, but is approximate 9 minutes longer on the second edition. The longer second edition is included on this CD.
[The second edition of Express Yourself also included "Love Land". As this is the same version of the song that appears on the previous Watts Band album [m=53996], it has not been included here.]
