The commonly known version (Part 1) on the A side is followed by the instrumental version over on the flip which begins with the percussive breakbeat part. Other than all other 7" pressings this versions are longer and edited at the album version's natural break after 4 minutes so no music is "lost" by fading out. Part 2 then fades out after around 4 minutes and compared to [url=https://www.discogs.com/Curtis-Mayfield-Curtis/master/30117]the 8:50 minutes album version[/url], the approximately last 45 seconds are missing.

Originally released in 1970, and featured on [url=https://www.discogs.com/Curtis-Mayfield-Curtis/master/30117]Mayfield's debut album[/url], it was sampled by "[m7125]" in 2009 and used by US President Joe Biden on his campaign trail in 2020.
