Swoosh - Over and Above EP

Over and Above represents Autum Records' first release, with two tracks that are testament to the bipolarity of this new-born-label.
Over is a muscular track where synths and pads create a foggy atmosphere from which an arpeggio emerges and disappears continuously with different trends/paces. Half way into the track strings come to life through an enticing and minimalist guitar solo.
The rhythmic part, even though looming, never degenerates into an aggressive or an indelicate sound.
Above on the other hand is a melancholic reflection about the theme of solitude.
The atmosphere is delicate and hazy due to a very massive pad line, which fades only with a groovy guitar part.
Over and Above are two tracks that are inevitably bound together. Over marks a nervous rift lead and Above can be seen a rebalancing that takes everything back to a quiet and a pondering state.
