US promotional pressing of this album, sent out to radio stations and media offices in the US early Feb 1985, before the retail release. Official release date at stores was Feb 18, 1985.
Disc has the same contents and same basic label lay-out as the retail versions but has "Promotional Copy Not For Sale" printed on the right side of the labels under the cat # (but not on the jacket).
These promo pressings were pressed by Electrosound Group Midwest as identified by the "016" in small print on the labels (under "STEREO") and by the hand-etched "Emw" in the run-outs. They are made of a higher-quality translucent vinyl (hold up to a light and you can see through it) which was common with promo releases and gold promo stamp copies sent out by PolyGram throughout much of the 80s.
The jacket is also the same as the retail version (with the same cat # and barcode) but most copies have a gold "LOANED FOR PROMOTION ONLY" promo stamp somewhere on the jacket.
Also has custom round hype sticker "Featuring The Hit Single HELL IN PARADISE" affixed directly on the jacket (see photo)
