- Pressing plant owned by Summit Technology Australia Pty Ltd. This acronym is comprised of the Summit trademark "SM" plus an "A" for the location of the plant. Please only use this entity where 'SMA' is apparent in the matrix of a CD.
During the 1990s discs had a four or five digit catalogue number in the matrix, which should be entered (without spaces) into the company number field of the LCCN section. Occasionally the number will be followed by a letter which can also be entered. Matrices bearing a ten digit number that begins with '61' should be entered in the LCCN as the parent company "SM".
The IFPI designated the Australian plant with the following Mould SID Code prefixes, which indicates that the CD was pressed at that location:
● IFPI 79## - Waterloo, Sydney, Australia (1995-2005) / Silverwater, Sydney (2005-present).
● ifpi 2661 - Silverwater, Sydney, Australia (equipment acquired from Digital Audio Technologies Australia, 2005).
*However, as per [g5.2.d], "...SID codes should not be used to identify manufacturing plants or glass mastering facilities as the codes may transfer from owner to owner of the equipment and / or pressplant".
