This pre-barcode version has white-on black rear sleeve design and label typography identical to the 'Electronic Stereo' reissue [r=604668]. However, this issue has no "Electronically Altered For Stereo" sticker, its runouts have a 'DS' catalogue number that has clearly been over-written from what was a 'DL' prefix, and it plays in Mono. It has no circled 'E' signature in the runouts.
This is likely a mid-'70s reissue. It is packaged as Stereo with the preceding version's 'Electronic Stereo' still advertised, but at some point the decision must have been made to revert to the Mono plates even for the Stereo catalogue issue, and the matrix prefixes altered accordingly.
A still later looking pre-barcode version also exists with identical sleeve design but different label typography: [r=9116452].
Inner sleeve is plain white paper with die cut center holes and rounded corners.
Address on label:
4243 N. Lincoln - Chicago, ILL 60618
First catalogue number is from labels and rear sleeve.
Second catalogue number is from spine.
